The Plague: On doing nothing
'Query : How contrive not to waste one's time?
Answer : By being fully aware of it all the while
Ways in which this can be done : By spending one's days on an uneasy chair in a dentist's waiting-room; by listening to lectures in a language one doesn't know; by remaining on one's balcony all of a Sunday afternoon; by travelling by the longest and least convenient train routes and of course, standing all the way ; by lining up at the box-office of theaters and then not buying a seat; and so forth '
From The Plague, Albert Camus
As long as I am alive, I must do something, I must engage myself in some activity, even if it happens to be supremely useless. Some innovative ways to achieve this state of 'busy-ness' were as mentioned in the excerpt from the book, others include blogging :)

i like this excerpt coz it seemed to have some semblance to what i was trying to say in 'Void'...but this i'd say has been put oh!so smartly!
